Cancellation Policy

1. Booking & Reservation: A non-refundable retainer fee of 30% is required to secure your event date and begin the design/planning process. 2. Event Details & Planning: Clients must provide event details, including; Event date and time, Venue/location Guest count, Theme, colors, and design inspiration, Any dietary needs or special requests, Final dessert selections, guest count, and design details must be confirmed no later than 14 days before the event. 3. Payments: The remaining balance must be paid in full 10 days before the event date. No setup services, desserts, or rentals will be provided until the account balance is paid in full. 4. Cancellation & Rescheduling: All retainers are non-refundable because they secure your event date and cover preparation costs. 5. Dessert Table Design & Setup: Dessert table designs are customized based on your theme, preferences, and available inventory. Inspiration photos may be used as a guide. 6. Rentals & Decorations: Any rented items (stands, trays, backdrops, décor, props, etc.) remain property of Want Some Cake + One Stop Party Shop & Events. 7. Food Safety & Dessert Care: Desserts should remain in appropriate conditions based on the type of dessert provided. 8. Delivery & Setup Fees: Delivery, setup, and breakdown fees may apply depending on event location, setup requirements, and package selection. 9. Client Approval: By booking a dessert table setup, the client acknowledges and agrees to the policies outlined above and understands that planning, preparation, and materials begin once the booking retainer has been received.
